Only because of management but very poor noise isolation you can hear creaks and all the noise outside. You can hear people talking below you and they can hear you above. You would have to whisper or have a soft spoken voice.

Staff is nice but you don’t want to live here. There is a list of things that make living at this apartment the most miserable place you have ever even considered inhabiting. Highway noise even with an apartment facing away from the road was unbearable. At one point in my time there the complex moved an abandoned car into my “reserved” parking space and made me contact the towing company to have it towed. There was also water damage in the bathroom from a leaky pipe in the ceiling. They did not properly replace the rotted/soaked drywall, they painted over the problem spot and then told me the other bubble on the wall was “not a problem”. I am certain there is mold throughout the wall. The stove does not have proper ventilation causing an oil buildup to accrue on the upper cabinets and on the ceiling of the kitchen. There is a lot of things that could have made my experience better, but needless to say it was not a great place to live.

I lived here for about a year and a half, and enjoyed the experience. The staff are nice and very responsive in terms of getting things fixed in the area. The location was very convenient as highway access to 405 and i90 is very easy. Traffic gets really bad southbound on 118th during commuter hours though, as that road is used to bypass 405 southbound. You could be stuck in traffic for 15 - 20 minutes in that direction at worst. Pricing was very reasonable for the area and the outdoor parks and trails were quite enjoyable. Unfortunately the building is quite old and the floors are very squeaky. They will make noise no matter how much care is taken. But other than that this place is great!

We moved to Washington from Minnesota and had to find a place rather quickly and because of this- we were not able to see the units in person. We worked with Heather (Property Manager) and she was BEYOND helpful every step of the process. We absolutely love the updated apartment and community. The property goes above and beyond to maintain a clean and beautiful community, and all maintenance request are completed in a timely manner. We highly recommend Emerald Ridge Apartments!
