I stayed during winter... Noise was not a issue... Enjoyed my stay tremendously.
I was in a room at the very back corner near the Rusty Rudder and I could hear the music from the bar. It didnt keep me awake at night but it was noticeable with the TV off. Also I dont believe they have live music mon-wed so it might not be like that every evening. Noise level in the hotel/hallways was alright. I could hear a loud dog barking in a room down the hallway and the locking mechanism on the doors is such that they are very loud when you close them. But otherwise the noise level was fine and you couldn't really hear people talking.
There was minimal noise but the lady at the front desk did say that it gets pretty loud when the bar next door lets out. But our room faced the front so we heard nothing.
In my experience, the noise level from outside noise is minimal, the windows do not open and are sound proof. We always enjoy staying here in July.
It could get loud at night with the rusty rudder next door and live bands every night. The hotel is also on the highway with alot of foot traffic. I also only rent here in the off season. Dewey is a party town.
I stayed during the winter, so no noise issue, however the staff did say if your room is on the side near the bar in the summer it can be pretty noisy...
