Please find somewhere else for help. Fairfax is a horrible awful place. My mom was shocked by them so much she now has no memory they actually killed her twice and had to revive her they don't use shock therapy anymore but they would if they could it wasn't always a private pay hospital but I'm sure nothing has changed o they also put me in their as a child like 11 yr. Old and said I had tons of mantel issues and I have none I was 11, and my mom needed help not Fairfax they just wanted me and her because she had Boeing insurance they ruin my mom life and my childhood gave me Prozac at the age of 11 come on I was a kid in a bad home not having mantel health issues and then they made my mom crazy to keep her there please don't go there it's not what you need

No. It is not. And as a former patient who was assaulted by a staff member I advise against a stay there. go anywhere but fairfax.

@SadieBee i believe they are Private pay but you can call to ask about Medicaid I would think they do but idk. I still wouldn't want anyone to go there with how they treated/mistreated my child. Try Providence or Swedish IOP, theres also A center of hope up north too. @Rachel I'm so sorry they assaulted you. I hope you're ok. Their corporate office is UHS, file a complaint with them and also with the OIC of WA. The more complaints will get them investigated. I filed from when my kid was there. Be well all!

ECT, is STILL considered an " experimental " procedure/therapy. I am a Disabled Veteran advocate & having worked with multiple Vets who were subjected to this sanctioned form of " TORTURE " I can attest to it's lack of effectiveness & I STRONGLY urge anyone who's Dr. or therapist has recommended this " treatment " to consider your options, think about it again, reconsider it, then pleeeaaasse think about answering them NO !!! Memory loss, severe anxiety, blinding headaches & mood swings were common complaints Vets I've worked vocalized to me. Keep in mind I am not a Dr. , therapist or psychiatrist, this is just MY opinion. Be well, keep your chin up, you matter :)
