I had a great experience with shopping at costco optical. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. For my trip, MIchael helps me measure the correct glass width, and suggest to use 55. In the past, I picked smaller glasses with short width, and it was not comfortable. The expensive optical shops I visited before never pointed this out to me. With Michael's helps, I am able to find very nice pair of frame that fits me perfectly. In addition, he also tells me the knowledge about lenses thickness, which is combining power and cylinder together, again something I only learnt from this trip. In addition, the glasses from Costo is super affordable. I have 350 dollars annual reimbursement from my insurance. The glasses I bought used to be in the 600-700 range, and I had to buy close to end of the year, and split the cost in two insurance years (frame in one year, and glass in another year). At costo, my glass costs less than 180 dollars. So I got two pairs of glasses in one calendar year, instead of getting one pair of glass every two years as before. Needless to say, I am super happy with Costco glass and services, and will go there again in the future.

I got two pairs of new glasses here a couple of weeks ago, including a pair of computer glasses, the nose pads of both pairs were not comfortable, so I went back yesterday after work. Christie took very good care of me, she obviously knows what she does, and she is very patient making adjustments back and forth, until both glasses fit really well. This is something very important for me and I know it's not always easy to get it right, Christie did a great job. Thank you!

PSA for Asians getting frames. Ask for Bernadette. She taught me about the differences in facial structure between Asians and Caucasians and which frames work for my head shape/nose. In costco, there are glasses with a globe (earth symbol) indicating that it can be fitted for "non-typical" American faces. Her husband is Asian, her children are half-Asian, so she knows all about "non-typical" faces and noses. I'm sure she can help with others as well, but as my experience was catered to me, I'll leave that up to others to comment/review. 5/5, even 10/5 if I could give it.

This is a great place to get your glasses. New to the glasses thing but the staffs were super helpful to help get hardware that will fit & suit my face. Great pricing, great service. I think they need more chairs for seating though

Yes but your frame must be approved by them and ideally bought at Costco and not too old
