The Whatcom Humane Society operates a food bank program allowing pet owners to come in once every 30 days to receive pet food assistance. Our food bank is stocked by generous donations from members of our community and is intended to be a supplemental program, we do not always have enough food to provide a full 30 day supply. To receive food please come by the shelter with your photo identification and staff will assist you with registering for the program. Food bank is available anytime during business hours.

Yes every 30 days

Please note you are allowed access to the pet food bank once every 30 days not necessarily once per month: January, February, March. For example you are allowed to get food on January 1st and then you can come in again on January 31st because that is 30 days later, however; you are not allowed to get food on January 5th and then come in on February 1st to get food because that is only 26 days.
