It depends on how your going to pay for the methadone, if you are going thru state insurance and have no children you have to wait till an appointment opens up, if you are pregnant or have a children you are more of a "priority" appt. So that's just from my POV. You can and will get help if you don't have dependants , but if you know you want to live another way than it's worth the wait to get into the program. People have waited for their dope dealer so waiting a little bit for actual help seems beneficial to your health and well being. God bless and good luck. You can be your own story of hope.
