If he's on SSD you can get his benefits garnished. Stop by your local office and talk to someone about it. At this office avoid windows 1 & 2. Medicaid will only pay for braces in the most severe cases, where orthodontic therapy is considered a medical issue rather than a cosmetic one. Morgan is correct it depends if your ex is on SSI or SSdi if its SSI then no you will not beable to collect back support if its ssdi then yes you can go to the ose office of support enforcement and let then know they can find his information and if he is on ssdi they can collect it for you as far as braces are concerned no they will not you can apply for Medicaid and they will pay for the braces
