We have finalized an adoption and have filled out the application for our childs new ss card with the new last name. I have tried going by the office in the afternoon recently and it says closed.....are there special hours right now with Covid?

You have to do everything online now...or if they feel it's an "emergency" than they'll set up an appointment with you if the feel it's "important enough" other than that it's all online and over the phone...

You have to call and get an appointment with someone as long as they've deemed it important
