Hi Lucian, We are terribly sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us. Our float tanks are filled with highly sterile Epsom salt water that is fully filtered three times after each float through a 1 micron pool filter, small enough to catch microscopic objects. The float tank is also sanitized with disinfectant and UV light between each float. In light of COVID-19, we sanitize showers, benches, pods, doors, and handles after each float. The pods are cleaned and filtered automatically after every float. I never saw anything except crystal clear water in my 30 days of doing it. Sometimes the colors from the installed lights can make them look off. The Epsom salts can smell funny, but it's very healthy.
When I was there everything was neat and clean.
