My mother moved into Merrill Gardens at the beginning of this year, they have been so great to her. Their care teams are the best I have seen and make my mom feel happy and well taken care of. On top of that they are excellent at communicating with me and making sure I know the best way to support her as well. Very happy we made the move to the Merrill Gardens.

My mother has lived at MG Renton for over 5 years. During that time she has transitioned from being fully independent to needing quite a bit of assistance with tasks of daily living. Throughout all the staff has been very caring and helpful. When things do come up, they are very responsive to my questions and concerns. It's a very welcoming place and I really feel that all the staff have the welfare of residents at the forefront of their approach. They have been really careful during Covid and their precautions have successfully kept the whole facility safe and virus free!

My mother lived at Merrill Gardens Renton Centre for 11 years. It was a very good senior residence choice when she first moved in, and has has continuously improved over time. When she moved there in her early 80’s she was independent, still driving, shopping, visiting family and friends, etc. She just wanted to downsize and simplify in preparation for the future. Over 11 years time, existing and future aging and medical issues would gradually slow her down and reduce her mobility and independence. But the many friendships she made over the years, both with residents and staff, sustained her quality of living. She passed recently, but was able to stay in familiar surroundings in her apartment through hospice care. The care and support given by the remarkable staff during this difficult time, from top to bottom, was amazing. We are grateful to all the staff at Merrill Gardens for the dedication and compassion, and love, that they consistently bring to work every day. They richly deserve a Five Star rating.
