It's a great family shelter and they have opened space right now so I would call as soon as you can.
It is a very good shelter but pierce county is very limited on funds and has very little space to help most of the homeless population. You will have to call and get on a list. Best thing to do is work with coordinated entry through catholic community services so they can help you with the moving and housing programs and call the rescue mission about how they can help get you here.
Depends on family size and situation because it's a family Rescue Mission. Adams Street Shelter is very good on helping and giving resources to those in need. I will say give him a call and see what they can do for you.
