There are 5 waterfalls. Visited them during our coldest weather and they were mostly made of ice. 3 of them are close to visitors center
The best time to see the waterfalls is early spring
Yes, they are not what I would call big. They are small but we're fun to look at. They are in different areas and are a good hike to go to see. If you're there for hiking like my family often has been you will enjoy getting a map, and setting out to find them. Just be sure to bring yourself lots of water to drink on a hot day as the falls are spread out in different areas. We came back many times to hike the trails and saw different waterfalls on different trips. Some were very easy to see and others were were on trails that were more of a challenge.
Yes. lower cascades is my favorite. The visitors center can offer maps and good directions
Many but be prepared for a long hike to see them and its all back uphill on the return.
There are a few waterfalls with trail access.
Yes there is a waterfall
Yes, but they are on a different trail.
I recommend doing the hikes at the end of the main parking lot at the visitor center. Relatively short, not very strenuous, but very rewarding. Oh and yes there are waterfalls in them too
