Yes, there are many picnic tables and a few shelters at the park. The lake is a great place to picnic, but for the very hardy souls, the view at the top of the tower on Moore's Wall Loop Trail can't be beat, in my humble opinion.
There are picnic tables and covered shelters. I like the ones down by the docks and lake. These also have the benefit of bathrooms.
