Cashiers are not supposed to do refunds, returns or exchanges of any kind. Some still do once in a while but, guaranteed they will be reprimanded. You are supposed to go to customer service between the hours of 7:00am-10:00pm. FYI; In my past experiences with the customer service department, you should be there before 10:00! 9:45 should be the latest you get there because they always always shut it down earlier than 10:00. Management could care less and if you says something to them you will have pegged yourself for less than satisfactory service with your future visits. I learned this the hard way and I'm still paying for it🤐
Customer service is only open until 10pm. But u can do returns at the registers after hours, depending on if they feel like doing it. Sometimes they will say that they can't but they can.
As long as you have a receipt and making the transaction before customer service closes you are good at ANY Wal-Mart.
And make sure you are returning it to the store you bought it from.
The customer service center should be open 24 hours and with a receipt you should get a full cash refund as long as the purchase was made within 90 days.

They are usually good with refunds as long as you have a reciept. It may depend on what the item is. For example, they will not accept some electronic items and never books or opened dvd/bluerays. I believe the service desk is open until 9pm but could be mistaken
Return policy : With a receipt u can recieve cash money back . With out a receipt items need to have the price tag on it and u recieve funds in a walmart card. Hrs. are 9am to 9pm
