Only been living in the area for 3 months but have had 2 packages "delivered" except for they weren't. When I left a note for my carrier and tried to contact the post office all I got was crickets. Either their tracking system is wrong and the daily email I get is wrong or our mail carrier can NOT be trusted with the mail.

By far the worst experiences I have ever had with a post office. They never answer their phones. I have paid a fee to have a CBU box repaired so I don't have to worry about my mail being stolen, it's been 17 days and nothing has happened. I've been in contact with USPS Main and they have no idea what is going on at this location ever. If this is your main post office I feel very sorry for you.

Horrible experience. I will update this review once there is a resolution. I had a package Returned to sender incorrectly. when I talked to the station manager, Gabe, he informed me that there was nothing he could do even though the package was still in the station. He would put an intercept so the package is automatically returned to me once it hit the state it was originally coming from. After calling USPS customer service and speaking to a manager there I was informed that 1. The station manager should have, and has every ability to, look through the Return to Sender pile. And 2. They had never heard of a package being returned in the method the station manager informed me. I feel completely cheated and lied to after doing everything I could to properly resolve this on my end including many visits to the post office. At the end of the day my package is still in that post office and they refuse to find it for me. Even though corporate confirmed the correct rules that he did not follow. Please reach out to me, find my package already in the return center pile or wherever it is in your station so we can resolve this! Update; as others have mentioned, it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach them through their official branch phone number. Rings and rings for hours. If you want my in depth analysis of your station to stop than do what USPS informed you to do in my service request! This is beyond shady and I won't stop until I get a professional, courteous response. We the tax payers deserve better from our community station.

My husband and I received our passports but the person who does the mail for our Residential address put our documents in the wrong address....so now someone has our birth certificates and other documents. I am really praying someone doesn't use it in an awful way. The person who helped me said all they could do was talk to the carrier. I feel like they should be looking harder for it, or pay for our nee birth certificates that were lost in the mail.

All depends on road conditions in and out of your mailbox . Plus the carriers have so much stuff to deliver they cannot get it all done on a good day and this snow and ice is really slowing them down much more. If they haven't been able to get to you in a couple of days and you're at the end of the route some will run backwards to get the people that were missed at times but will depend on carriers and postmaster whether they will let them change their delivery direction for the day. In the end we will never know until they show finally. They are doing their best though. 👌
No it does not only has Post Office boxes there's a place down farther on mountain highway that does do that
Yes they do
Have you tried asking your receiver? Maybe they know. When i send packages to Africa i require a 5 digit postal code too and i get it from my receiver it the post office in the region am sending to.
