I had the same question. This is what their website says “Sod, dirt, rocks, large stumps, trunks and branches are not accepted as curbside yard waste and should be brought to the Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center. Stumps, brush, and tree limbs (whole or chipped) can also be brought to Recovery 1 in Tacoma. (Fees may apply.)”
The sign says that they do not accept sod.
