I believe so. They might cut the fee down if you tell them you have been looking. You might also have to pay the full adoption fee as they have taken care of him for a week. Either way some cash will be out of pocket for you to get your fur baby back. Good luck.

The best way for this not to happen is a City of Tacoma Tag or getting a Microchip. They will charge a fee to get him out of Kitty Jail but it won't be big. Glad you found him!
