Its pretty busy, on the weekend you will be waiting a long time if you dont have a reservation. They save the seats at the counter for walk ins but those seats are limited. If you want to go without a reservation I would suggest showing up right at 5 when they open to snag a counter seat.
We were able to get in for a table of 2 but there was a 1 hour wait to do so. We were able to sit at the bar while waiting but space was also slim there. Definitely make a reservation if you can.
