We were actually featured on Carnival Eats this season (they were here in September), with some amazing items such as deep fried sushi, scones and other foods. The episode should be up on their site if you haven't seen it. The crew was so pleased with the variety of food at our Fair that they had a hard time choosing only a few to feature. Additionally, KING 5 broadcasted live all last Fair and featured dozens of food vendors and even did a "Final Fork" bracket for viewers to vote. There was only one burger on there. Feel free to check in with us before each Fair for food options. Especially at Washington State Fair in the fall, sometimes you might not know where different food options are located or new ones that have joined us, so you can always email us. Thank you!
I was just at the spring fair this weekend and saw a very wide variety of food at all the stands. Looking forward to the fall fair so I have more time to explore and taste more food.
They had bbq cook off tasting at the spring fair it was very tasty
I agree with Jerrold, I had shaved ice, corn dog, beef brat with sourkraut and mustard. None of these stands sold hamburgers either.
Perhaps look around more. Elephant ears, roasted corn on the cob, turkey legs, giant corn dogs, garlic fries, giant 5lb curly fries stacks, giant nacho plates, scones, cotton candy, teriyaki plates, Asian plates, deep fried butter and Twinkies... I think it's all good as i expect carnival food at a fair. Bite of Seattle is good for new foods though. Fairs are good for Fair food.
