Yes it is! There have been many "encounters", and there was paranormal investigation. The Indians that lived there were forced off the land for the fort to be built. The soldiers fired on the Indians who relocated to the beach as a fun activity. Not a good time. Can't beleive the native americans are never mentioned in this information about the fort....
Nope and ghosts aren't real
Yes, officers row is haunted in some of the houses also the barracks are haunted as well.
Probably not haunted...but definitely has some scary little tunnels and passageways.
The base never received enemy fire or fired at the enemy, for that matter. Never heard of it being haunted.
The guns on the fort have never been fired in aggression. Soldiers have died during loading accidents due to the gun powder bags exploding when inserted into the guns during training. Have seen nor heard any signs of being haunted.
Whether you believe in the paranormal or not the fact remains that during the time this fort was in service (as you can read from many informational plaques) a few people did fall to illness, now whether that would amount to paranormal activity or not is beyond my area of expertise.
No
First an army camp, then a youth detention center, Fort Worden is rumored to be haunted. From the Scottish tower, to a boiler, where a murdered soldiers remains were said to be found. Yes!
Not one soldier did as they never saw action. So, no.
