Had a wonderful stay here, & definitely hope to return someday! Our room was clean & had the perfect historical vibe, and the Castle itself is in a great location. The woman at the front desk was very friendly, polite, & helpful - she was a pleasure to talk to. There were also handouts on the history of the Castle/a self-guided tour & another for the paranormal history for those interested. I loved wandering through & exploring the historical building & the beautiful garden out front. Definitely recommend! (The bed was comfortable as well!)

First I'd like to say that if you aren't expecting a 5 star experience, you won't be disappointed. This castle is over 120 yrs old and a historic property in Port Townsend. Expect to see vintage beds and furnishings which have been well taken care of. There's an elevator that is for the staff so you'll be taking the stairs to your room. (Though the front desk lady sweet enough to take us to our floor because we had quite a bit of luggage) We stayed on the 3rd floor where many of the ghost sightings happen. My husband is a cynic when it comes to things of this nature so it was appropriate that the first night at the hotel, he was awaken by the feel of a hand touching his back. It wasn't anything sinister but it was certainly startling and uneasy for him. Though I wish I had, I didn't have any experiences but I did have great sleep and a wonderful view from the room. I'll be back!!!

The castle is so beautiful and the food is amazing. The beds are super comfy and very clean. I have stayed here 4 times for business trips, and I absolutely love it. The whole staff is so nice and go out of their way to make you feel at home. 10/10 * Only recommendation is to update the Manresa website since it doesn't reflect what the rooms look like and the updates around the castle.

Such a cool and unique experience for a place to stay! The room was clean and tidy and our room had beautiful views which was a big plus! The castle was beautiful with so much to see and so much history. There’s several options for food and drinks in the hotel which made staying in easy. The elephant room was very cool and unique, upbeat with good drinks. The green room was relaxed and laid back, and had books to look at/purchase while sitting. The Rook had delicious food and drinks, and a very cool setting. We had appetizers/drinks and then came back for dinner/drinks and the food was delicious and unique in flavor; plus the names of the dishes were awesome! The wait was a bit long but we were there on the same night as a burlesque show and they didn’t have many workers so was understandable. Still a good experience!
