Dedicated volunteers who are passionate in their love for history and lighthouse preservation. The site is wonderful, educational and fun. The only reason I gave it four stars is that there is no bathroom nearby. The coast guard should install a port-o-let for the visitors' use.

Yea, it’s a lighthouse, not much else to say about it in April when it was closed.

Very nice light house. Easy to access from a short sandy trail.. There is a wall of Rock Boulders holding back the ocean. It's an amazing sight to see from the back side of the light house.. Take a left turn on the sandy trail and you find a beautiful beach full of colorful rocks to collect.. Beautiful drift wood to build a warm fire. Or a log shelter.. The seagulls are in an abundance here... There is a fee of $10. For day use..

Excellent trails and paths around the beach and to the light house. Fantastic photo opportunities, peaceful scenery. Nearby science center looks neat, but it was closed for the winter during our visit.

At present it looks like we'll reopen on weekends sometime in May, depending on how the renovation work goes this winter, how the pandemic is and how many volunteer docents we have. Check back with us when your plans firm up next spring. We might well have more definite information then.
You are able to walk around outside only.
The Lighthouse is part of Fort Worden Park. The Park's hours aren't listed on the main page, but I seem to remember the gate sign reading 6 AM - 10 PM. Might have been summer hours though as I was there last summer.
