It worked for my grandsons due to thier age. But I do feel at that price they didn't offer a lot. Ie.. the price didn't go down when they lost the lazy river.

This was our first time at this water park. Even though it was very busy (a lot of kids from summer camps showed up), there was still plenty to do and the lines weren’t too terrible for the two larger water slides. There were plenty of lifeguards, and I have to say they were right on top of things. Some were even walking around, making sure kids were following the rules and monitoring everyone. I appreciate this - we have been to other water parks where the employees don’t care what’s going on. A very serious incident happened while we were there, and the lifeguards were right there, efficiently taking care of it. The outcome was a positive one. We’d recommend this water park for a nice place to cool off and have fun for the day.

This is my favorite water park. It is much smaller than the one in North Charleston, however I prefer that. I can see my kids from just about anywhere in the park and it still has tons of fun things to do. We love a good day at the water park followed by Melvins BBQ for dinner right down the street:)

Fun family day activity for a reasonable price. Skews to the tween and younger crowd. A great place to cool off in the summer heat.

Labor Day is final weekend
$11.99 general admission. but if you go after 3p.m. Monday-Friday it's $7.99. parking is $2/ person in the car
Yes! $2 off if you are a camper. Get the discount with your parking tag and take it to the campground office.

They are currently closed for the season, however, they'll reopen 4 May weekends only and beginning 27 May they'll be open daily.

The entrance fee for the water park IN the county park is an additional fee for each person about $12/person, less for under 4' and seniors under 2 y.o. free. Tons of fun tho!

The rule is if there's lightning in the area everyone has to leave the park for 30 minutes. After an hour if the lightning hasn't stopped they give you a pass to come back at a later date. If it's raining but no lightning they will not make you leave.
It gets you free access to Charleston county parks and a few other amenities.
If you can't have fun there, you are a boring terrible person.

General admission for adults is $11.99. Admission for seniors (60 and up) is $6.99. There is also a $2 per person gate charge as the water park is located inside James Island County Park.
It's $11.99 for general admission. Kids under 48" are $9.99 and kids under 2 years old are free. Seniors (60 and over) are $6.99. Because the park is inside James Island County Park, there is also a $2/person gate admission (unless you have a Gold pass). When the park is open on weekdays (starting in June) admission is $7.99 after 3 pm Monday - Friday.
