My boyfriend says that about 8 yrs ago, on 2 occasions, he saw A SEAL hanging out in the freshwater ponds of Twin Ponds Park! Why would a seal be in a landlocked, freshwater pond? Has anyone else seen this seal?

I suspect that he may have seen a river otter, they do frequent the ponds and might be mistaken for a seal.

Twin ponds park has no direct connection to any saltwater that I could find ... perhaps he saw a slicked back wet retriever dog? They look a lot alike ...I have seen dogs in the water there several times
