They told us donation based along with the suggested donation. We arrived about thirty minutes before closing so we felt less of a donation was sufficient, but the lady kept reminding us of the suggested amount.

Is you are an art lover I suggest you pay for SAM membership and all exhibitions are free to you. This is deductible,at least for now, and very worth while.
Every 1st Thursday is free ad is there's an exhibition it's around 35 or more
