Yes there is 90 minute parking just outside the children's museum for free,and that's for 90 minutes you can usually move your car to another spot that's available on the next block pretty easily or you can park in the parking lot across the way for a think five or six bucks for a few hours depending on the day
Hillclimb or hilltop parking across the street is the best. I know the name starts with hill. Members of the aquarium get $1 an hour there with validation. Depends on who is working the desk you might be able to get the stamp.
I ended up using an app called bestparking. Prices weren't always accurate but we also targeted the less expensive lots. We parked at a lot for QED coffee I believe.
