I just called IB Magee camping won't be open for at least another year. Beach camping permits available at some local stores $12 for the yearly pass
RV camping is available at a reduced rate since none of the facilities are currently up no showers etc
Doesn't look like any work is going on ...kinda looks like it's just gonna sit there and wait for the ocean to reclaim the beach

Hurricane Harvey aftermath. Some people aren't ready yet to welcome campers. Also there has been a really dangerous problem with the fog visibility.
