You are not likely to see any bears. Cook your bacon without fear.
Maybe they were talking about men of the hairy kind. I know those bears love bacon, so maybe.
Cook what you want. As always, put trash/garbage in appropriate containers. We saw no signs of bears when we visited. Beautiful area.
Here, like anywhere, practice good camping protocols. Make sure your food is secured and that you leave nothing to attract wildlife. Abiding by the well-established standards for camping should be all you need in this park. Enjoy your stay! This gem is a favorite of ours.
No bears here to my knowledge
In areas where bears are a problem, one needs to seriously manage their "smellables." Before I ever knew what I was doing in terms of camping, some friends of mine and I went camping in eastern As. I woke up to a bear pulling stuff out of my pack. I don't think HE was there for bacon. He was there because he smelled things and came to find them. He was very successful and so was my expensive and dangerous lesson.
Bears are not a problem at this park.
I don't think bears are a problem in the park.
Eat Bacon. If you see a bear cheer. Not likely you will.
I saw no warning against cooking bacon.
