Nice staff. Wonderful little quiet town. Room lacking some things. Iron and board. No little fridge in room. Tv a bit small with low volume. Window AC unit. Could be better. No blackout curtains. Up bright and early here. Needs ice machine across st from main hotel. The main, 1 ice machine broken. Beds okay. Pillows, lots of them, big and puffy. Room for 4, but only 2 towels.

The hotel takes your breath away from the second your feet touch the porch. This is a beautiful hotel that is equally as comfortable. The staff went above and beyond for us. Brenda is welcoming and makes sure that guests have a home away from home.

This hotel misses the mark - on everything. After a 2.5 hour drive from Guadalupe National Park following my 3 hour hike, all I wanted was to get in the shower. But I had to wait 10 minutes because the receptionist wasn’t at the front desk. Then it took her 4 minutes to find my reservation and get me a key…for a room across the street from the main hotel. I had to make two trips to get my bags from my car and the expensive bike I didn’t want to leave in the car (foolish me, I parked in the parking lot at the hotel entrance rather than in the street which was farther from the hotel entrance but closer to the room assigned to me). And oh did I mention the ice machine was broken necessitating an unnecessary trip to the restaurant to get some ice to cool my water for the bike ride the next day? I lost 23 minutes for these unnecessary waits and tasks. And I needed just a few of them back because the restaurant which has posted open hours until 9 rejected me at 8:32 due to some repairs I didn’t stick around to hear about. Finally, the bath towel had a hole in it. And an encore - there is no breakfast, just coffee, bottled water and fruit bars. I certainly didn’t think I was getting the Waldorf in rural Texas. But I didn’t expect to stay at Motel 6 for $185 either. This is one hotel to avoid for those seeking to avoid frustration.

Had a great stay. We were in the annex up above the gift shop across the street, but it was still very nice. Great shower. Cozy cabin vibe. Sheets and towels were very nice. And of course, Fort Davis is such a great town. We hope to stay in the main building on our next trip out here. :)

Not in the hotel itself, but there is a bar in the Blue Mountain restaurant next door with televisions.
Eric mentions referring to the website. That's what I would do.
