The trail took 2 hours with frequent stops to view birds. It was a peaceful hike as we were the only people on the trail on a Thursday morning in April. We saw whitetail deer, the typical sparrows, and a great horned owl. The photos are of an ash-throated flycatcher.

Well kept trail with decent (but almost not noticable) elevation change for excellent views. Took a friend and myself only 1ish hour to complete the loop.

Super chill. On our way up to the observation center.

Great free trail in the beautiful Davis Mountains. I only wish the trail to Mount Livermore was open all year.

I don't believe dogs are allowed on the preserve trail, but in the picnic area it should be fine.
