It's an open state park. I do not recall any pet restrictions, but plenty of folks in RVs. Will probably need to call on that one.

Yes, they do. Most campsites (probably not the primitive area, though) allow for pets.

Dogs are allowed on the grounds of the fort, but can't take them into the museum/displays. If you can carry the dog, that's Ok. They are not allowed at the McDonald Observatory.
