Do you have to pay for the room when you reserve it, or can it just be held with the card and paid with cash when we arrive?

I had to paid at the moment I reserved the room.

A deposit is taken when you reserve. 100% for one night, 50% for multi night stays. Deposit is fully refundable until 72 hrs prior to arrival.

Most hotels require a credit card for reservation and to check in, in case of damage.

Mine was just held if I wanted to pay with the card I used I could or I could use another option
