Easy and nice. Have access to same showers and toilets plus ranch house. Tent space is in center area. No power or anything. Parking is about 75 yards from tent area. Self camping here is great.
Great! I went for the Trans Pecos Festival so it was much busier than I assume it normally is. There are showers and a gift shop. Lots of places to pitch a tent. They also offer pre-pitched tents from as small as a boy scout tent to shelter tents to Teepees. Look for higher ground when setting your own tent as the lower areas will flood IF it rains. Friendly staff and laid back atmosphere👍
Bring your own tent for "self camping". It gets pretty cold at night so make sure youre prepared for that. The rental tents have heat or heated blankets. If you can get the Teepee and stay warm! Awesome time Have a libation with your neighbors! Enjoy the local wildlife and the endless sky!
Don't camp near the stage area, it floods really bad there. Not alot of shade. Area is nice, showers and bathrooms are designed rustic. Very laid back.
I believe the main idea of the place is just camping in different ways. The 'self-camping'can be accomplished, and they have amenities that can be used by campers. I saw some fridges and kitchen areas. Their space is pretty big, you will be able to get your spot and be in peace.
Parking is nearby. You pick any sort in a big area that is 20+ yards from common spaces (e.g., hammocks). Bathrooms are close and convenient. The area has minimal outdoor lighting, making it easy to sleep.
It's good. Nice showers, free coffee in the morning, communal kitchen. There are power plugs near the hammocks if you need to charge a phone.
They have a huge lot where you pitch a tent or they have lean-tos and teepees also for rent. There's public bathrooms and stuff that you have access to.
