Overnight camping is only allowed on the 14 designated island campsites. Reservations for the 14 backcountry island sites must be made using www.Recreation.gov. There is a $20 fee per night.

We camped overnight on our boat. Didn't require a permit but we did let the guy at the guard gate know.
The only camping they offer is on the islands. You would need to get a permit for that from the visitor center.
