You seriously called the cops and lied to them in attempts to get a veteran arrested for holding a "god bless the homeless veterans" sign on the public sidewalk? You should've been charged for misuse of 911 and making a false police report. We as a country and society have lost compassion for one another and the ability to have dialogue. You marched out there and demanded that he leave and then told him you were calling the cops. What is wrong with us? Why has this become the norm? Everyone is offended by everything and then they call the police when they don't get what they want. Police officers are law enforcement, not feeling enforcement. Our constitution is at risk more than ever as the majority would trade freedom for security. Those people also refuse to take accountability as I am sure this will fall on deaf ears. At the very least I hope this has caused you to re think your actions that night and you will attempt to respect the rights of your fellow Americans in the future. God bless the homeless vets.

Due to an influx of negative reviews that have nothing to do with the business itself I thought I’d share my great experiences here. Not only does the brewery come up with excellent flavors routinely but the bar staff are all incredibly knowledgeable and will always get you exactly what you’re looking for. This is the place to go if you want good music, friendly bartenders and really quality beer.

Called the cops on a peaceful dude outside who was just saying “God bless the homeless veterans.” The bar manager lied on the 911 call by saying he was on their property, harassing customers and asking for money. None of that is true. As a formerly homeless vet, this kind of behavior is inexcusable. The employees here have zero respect for our constitutional right to free speech. That man was never on their property and had an inalienable right to stand on public property and speak his mind. Shame on you, New Smyrna Beach Brewing.

I'd say they would get less calls if they left an outlet on social media. God bless the homeless veterans.

They might be pet friendly, but they definitely don't comprehend the difference between public and private property. They also don't respect the Constitution.
