Helpful, caring staff and volunteers! Love how easy it has been to adopt and care for our new kittens!

Found a dog for my dad about 3yrs ago. But all the dogs now are bigger than what he is looking for. But the people are really helpful friendly and nice. The kennels are clean and look like they might be comfortable for the animals. Nice

A BIG THANK YOU to the people at this place!! I found a kitten in my back yard and I was heartbroken not to be able to keep her. I called this place and the guy who answered was very nice. I explained how I found her and he was very compassionate with me because I'm sure he could tell I was sad to have to take her anywhere. When I got to the place, everyone was super nice and I felt like the little kitten would be well taken care of which was a HUGE relief to me. Anyone looking to adopt should definitely visit this place or donate!

I recently adopted a senior dog from this shelter and I have been very happy and pleased with both the care of their animals and also their customer service to me. I have rescued multiple animals from various shelters/rescues and I can confidently say this shelter takes excellent care of their animals. The place is clean, the animals are very loved and the animals are well taken care of. Animal rescue is extremely taxing (mentally, emotionally and physically) to be a part of and this staff is excellent. Anyone that has issues or leaves the bad reviews most likely are the problem creators rather than the problem solvers. I have been active in animal rescue for decades now and I can promise you this is a great shelter that is doing everything in its power to save these animals lives and give them the best potential for a positive future. Save a life!! You won’t regret it. Thank you!!!🙏🏻💕

Or you can go by. They are very busy. The staff is great.
We can always use new volunteers! Please visit our website and complete the application. Thank you!
I hope you find her 🙏 call the shelter in the a.m.
Tons! Take yr pick.... newbies to seniors, colors...you choose.
This Is a no kill shelter. Take pics of the dog and post to lost and found pets in your area on Facebook.
They have small dogs, big dogs, small cats, adult cats. You really need to just go and see if you find your best friend.
Hi Tabitha, Thanks for being interested in working with us! You must be 18 to work or volunteer for us. However, if you are under 18, you can still volunteer, but your parent needs to be with you. The reason for this is because of insurance liability. I hope that helps!
Hi Joan, Please fill out the volunteer application on our website and list that you want to be a foster home, One of our managers will contact you about our process after they get your application. Thanks for considering fostering for us!
You would really need to talk to the staff, I'm just a volunteer. I would let them know what's going on with the dog and let them know you are willing to take the dog. I hope this helps.
We do not euthanize for medical issues, unless the pet is suffering and nothing else can be done.
Where do you live?
All of our shelter pets are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered before going home.
Don't go to this place they lie to you we had adopted a kitten and then ge incision had opened up and then they told us to bring her back to the shelter and they had lied to us and told us once they are out of their hands your reasonable when it was there fault
No
Try pee pads... put around where he has been going, if he goes on it put it in the box and place it in that same spot.
Call the shelter and speak with April, she runs the front desk. # 386-428-9860
No to shredded paper but bedding and stuff yes.
Spay/neuter is req'd after adoption if the animal isn't already fixed. Policy of humane society. They give you a list of vets that do it at a deep discount. I hope you're not thinking about breeding a pitbull. Shelters are full of them. The majority of pits are destroyed through no fault of their own. It's a real problem; irresponsible humans throw them away like garbage when they don't want to train them.
Not at this time but keep checking the website just in case we get some in
Sometime yes but I dont think so currently.
Absolutely! We accept donations any way we can. Some people send us chewy packages and donations through the mail, some bring donations by in person and some drop items off at some of our drives such at the one the police department is holding. Thank you in advance for thinking of our shelter!
No, the SHELTER takes in the homeless animals, locks them in a cage, dehydrates and starves them to death. Are you kidding me?! Of course they do. This is one of the best shelters ive ever been in. I adopted a sweet beagle last March- he's awesome.
I don't know. Call there in the morning.
If not claimed will go up for adoption
We try to get them fixed before they go home but sometimes we give you the dates for the surgery and you just bring them there
Hi Toby, I went through this in another state and yes, I did have to bail my dog out of jail. It wasn't a lot, but worth it to get my girl back. Your dog may be at the Vol Co Humane Society in Daytona, west off LPGA exit
Yes, this is a shelter. Donations like detergent, fabric softner, blankets, FOOD are welcomed. $200 for a rescue puppy prevents it from becoming BAIT. Be nice. These people work hard for volunteers ~ maybe you should stay a day & see how things work!
I hope they are taking better care of the animals there then they were roughly about a month ago
I have an absolutely wonderful kitten that adopted me in NSB. He can't be more than 12 weeks but is litter trained. Unfortunately my dog is not getting along with him well. Please call if you are interested. 267-261-0541. Thank you!
Not sure how much it would cost you.
They always have small dogs and large dogs. Place is very clean
