It's fine for most SUV'S, something really massive or long might have trouble in some of the tighter corners and such. Remember you have to go to the National Park's office in Mesa and get the pass beforehand because the gates are padlocked and the combinations change monthly. The pass is free they just want you to sign that you understand the rules and all......
You can drive this trail with SUVs but depending on the size of it you may run into some challenges.
