So camping permit. I've been getting mixed answers. Is it what you pay when you reach the campgrounds that you can renew every night or is it a legal process online in forms needed to fill out in advance?

I just pay them there, and if I wanna stay an extra day or whatever, I just go up to the front and pay more. Not sure if that's the right way, but noone has ever told me different
