Recently visited the Valley View Campground area for an Endurance Ride. This place is just beautiful! Had a great time. All the hikers, recreational horseback riders and anyone else we came across were super friendly. Lots of animals everywhere including the most adorable frogs 🐸 in the many ponds.

Came out to stargaze and didn't have much luck. I will say lots of camping spots and a lot of wife open spaces were present.

Really great dispersed camping. 2bar verizon lte. Areas can be closed due to heavy rain. If you're camping in certain areas when the rain comes you will be asked to relocate.

Great place to camp. FOR FREE. This is federal land, so there are no fees to set up camp for a thrifty weekend get a way. Keep in mind, there are not park rangers, or electric or water hook-ups. Come prepared and enjoy the views and yourself.
