Not sure about that, I would call first. Because as it gets cooler lots should be going for fall camping. If I was coming from far off I would call first, it is first come gets the spot.

I'd say you have a good chance of getting a spot. It's the end of summer, no holiday, possible rain. I'd still try and get there early though.

Good chance. Schools back in and fishing / kayaking will slow down by then.
