We're just going to the park on a day pass to look around and probably eat a picnic lunch. Are there picnic tables available? And if so which parking lot would be best?

The day parking area is the best spot....beautiful...has picnic tables and nice bathrooms. Just a reminder....there is no phone service there.

There are picnic tables available at both parking lots. The smaller one to the left has a little cabin house there and some really nice shade trees over the picnic tables, but the larger lot is also nice for a picnic. There are multiple loop trails from easy to more physically demanding so something for everyone.
