My entire family enjoyed swimming in the pond, it is deep and falls off quickly but completely safe and the water is great. I would suggest bringing some floaties for the kiddos.
Not "swimming" really. Wading, maybe. There are some wide and narrow streams with shallow running water to splash around in that aren't more than knee deep in most places. As others have pointed out, it would be at your own risk as there are no true designated swimming, wading, or water play areas. If you intend to hike, many of the hiking areas follow natural water routes that have a few inches of water in them. There's a decent sized pond there, but it's not really for swimming and I would advise against it.
What kind of snakes should we watch out for? Are there any in or near the water?
There is a huge pond where my friends and I trekked to every day. Prepare for a 40 minute walk and definitely take floaties! There are fish that nip your skin a little and possibly turtles so be aware of that.
no swimming
No swimming, it has kind of a pond.
No swimming area and unwise
Not really there may be few places to get wet but about it
If there is swimming allowed, it will be at your own risk.
Not that I saw. There are lots of beautiful areas of water but not swimming areas.
