How is the main road driving out to Stair case there was a rumor they were going to pave it?

Partially paved. Gravel along the lake. My Taurus handled it just fine on Memorial Day.

The road is good, only about six miles of packed gravel. Went there today (7-21-18) and had no problems.

Don't know yet this year, trip planned for the end of July 2018...
