Great hike with some moderately steep climbs. The loop is 4 miles but if you are up for it, an additional 2 miles round trip will bring you to a lookout point with views of Lake Cushman and territory.

Went last weekend in the rain, the confluence was intense! Standing on the bridge right above? Amazing. Visibility was limited, so no vistas - but the fall color was breathtaking.

Beautiful view at the lookout. The trail was nicely maintained. The hike had some good elevation gain, so a bit tiring for some but there were a couple places to rest and have a snack.

4.5 miles. The river is pretty much at the trail head, less than a 5 min walk. If you do the loop, I recommend going counter clockwise.
