I went there in 2019 and at that time, there were no paved roads to the campground. After I40 you've ~12 miles of unpaved road to the campground.
Yes
If you want to scrape the suspension off your rig, get jack knifed, block the road and spend $thousands on recovery, by all means tow a huge RV and car in there. I guarantee, you will only try it once. Scope it out in a car or truck before you destroy your rig and be the laughing stock of everyone else.
Nice road in and spacious level camp sites. You will have no difficulty with a 30-ft motorhome & tow.
From I 40 the road (about 25 mi) is paved. The camp ground is in paved. I take my 36 fool class A there with no problem. I tow a Jeep and disconnect before going into the campground. You will need to fill your water tank on the way in, the dump station is very nice. There's a lot to do in the area, happy camping.
As above, the campground may be tight for a 30 ft but well worth the short drive from I 40 to check it out. There is also dispersed camping in most of the park, if you want to explore that option.
Yes. You'll have paved roads to the Campgrounds but, as I recall, the actual Campground area is unpaved. I drove my 24' Class C with tow vehicle and didn't have any problems.
