Not really a swimming hole but a basin for launching boats.
Great paddling place.
The waters a little dark and brackish. It wouldn't be my first choice on where to go for a swim. But I did really enjoy my day there.

One word: Gators!
As mentioned by Kirk, it's more of a river and shallow basin to launch canoes and boats. I guess you could jump out of the boat and/or canoe however... Alligators
