There are dirt roads everywhere and the place is really spread out. I recommend bringing bicycles to get around. It's walkable, but it's a lot of walking. We left our bicycles at home because there aren't "trails", and we regretted not having them.
There are dirt roads everywhere to ride bikes but its shared with cars. People drive slow so it isn't usually a problem.
