we will be there first week of April is it as packed with spring breakers as Clearwater beach is?

I doubt that there will be tons of Spring breakers at little harbor. The beach there is small and more like a retirement community. If you want larger beaches, you'll need to drive 30 miles south to Bradenton beach or 35 miles south and then west for the beaches of St Pete and Madeira beaches.

Pretty much all the rooms are rented and alot of people there the beach is small but not to crazy most go to the 2 heated pools that they have.
