The people were nice . All they had yesterday were big dogs. I saw one that was beautiful just a little too big for me . Jane

CARE always puts the welfare of the dogs and cats above all else. I've had numerous interactions, including volunteering, with this wonderful organization. They truly try to make the best fit for the cat/dog and person. They are passionate about their mission. And compassionate about the animals.

This place is so clean and has the best service! We came here looking to get a puppy and they were so nice to us. They showed us all of our options and let us pick. We filled out an adoption form and let them do the rest! We now have two wonderful puppies taken in from Care! When we got the puppies they even gave us a whole entire bag of things for the puppies from food, toys, and even ticks and flea control pills! Definitely come here to adopt!

This place is a great small no kill shelter. When you adopt you save 2 life's- the one you adopt and the one who takes its place. Open 10am-3pm Tues- Sat.

There you go from CARE--nice of you to offer! This is an awesome place!
Please call 645-2273. Please DO NOT just show up at the shelter with an animal. We are often full and unable to take in more. When you call we can let you know and also give you a list of other shelters nearby
Yes, shelter pets are cared for every day. You are welcome to stop by.
Contact Feline Folks in Sun city, they trap, neuter and release cats
Please call 645-2273 BEFORE bringing the cat. We are often full and cannot accommodate more animals but we will give you a list of other shelters nearby that may be able to help. You could also post on the Facebook page Ruskin Paws to find a home.
Not at the moment !!!
You could always give them a call, I donated two golden doodles not to long ago.
No, I'm sorry they do not. Only cats and dogs.
I don't work there . Was looking for puppy. Give them a call .😊
No. CARE is an excellent nurturing and adoption nonprofit for dogs and cats only.
We did, so I would think yes. Just go there and speak with the staff. All the dogs we saw were outside in cages. The staff leashed a dog for us to interact with. We did not see any cats/kittens. I believe they were inside but not why we were visiting so I can not address them.
There are vaccination fees, and state registration fees as required by law, but everything is reasonable. There are no charges for the pets themselves. They do great work though, and yes donations are appreciated!
The Pet Resource Center or a local veterinarian would do this.
We do sell any cat. We find homes for cats. We are unlikely to have a Siberian cat.
Call 645-2273 for more information
We have volunteer positions available during the week but they would be 7am to 10am or 12 pm to 3 pm. You can apply by visiting the shelter between 10 am and 3 pm Tuesday through Thursday. Speak with the Volunteer Coordinator, Jenn.
Tuesday and Friday from 10am to 1pm. Please bring ID and wear a mask.
I have 4 kittens 7 months old and one mom cat equals 5 cats in total. They use to live with me but I’m working and I don’t have much time. But I love them to death 😭 this is an hard decision but I have to make it. I wish someone adopt them by pair because they love each other so much 😭. Hopefully When I bring them someone adopt 3 of them and another person adopt Those other 2. Omg 😔
We currently do not have the capacity to offer that service. Hopefully in the future when we have the new building we will be able to offer it again.
Call them first. No they will not take an aggressive dog.
If you want to adopt a small dog, I believe it would cost around $100. That would include neutering, the first round of shots, and two months of heartworm medication.
Go up to care and there they will give you an application for the process to volunteer
They take donations of all kinds for pets. They could really use food. They also take donations for towels, blankets, and animal beds.
Yes, there is currently a male boxer mix puppy, male german shepherd puppy, female pit bull puppy, and another puppy rhat honestly Im not certain the breed but she is blonde, cute, long hair. If you call the office they can give you more info and you can visit.
Only can advise you to try. They mainly take dogs and cats.
According to the website to volunteer you must be 16 - 90 + years old. Hope that answers your question.
