I have had two dogs and have always had them treated at Ruskin Animal Hospital. After 23 year we had to have our second put down at the hospital. Their staff has always been kind understanding and helpful over the years. We have never taken our pets anywhere else.you can't go wrong here. Thank you Dr waldy.

The Staff and Vets are wonderful. We have always been more than satisfied with the care they have given our dogs over the past few years. We will continue to trust Ruskin Animal Hospital with the care of our dog Sadie, and any future dogs we may add to our family!

I don’t have enough words to express how disappointed I am with the services received. I Took my puppy for her initial doctors visit here on Tuesday January 11,2022. In the process they asked me if I wanted them to clean her Botox area as she had some residue (Normal for hairy dog) I told them yes you can “trim it”. They instead shaved her (SHE IS ONLY A PUPPY!!!!) and cut her way too much to the point that now she feel so uncomfortable to sit and even move around. In opinion they should stick to addressing medical concerns and leave the grooming to real professionals. Other than that the Vetenerian was very caring and understanding along with front desk staff. I have 1 more dog who is a patient of this location and never had such unpleasant experience. Update** Whitney, she had us come in the next day to address concerns with Provider. Even she was speechless but was able to evaluate my puppy and prescribe something to relief the affected area.

My husband took our Doxie in because of sudden weakness in his hips and legs. The front desk got us in right away with Dr Waldy. He was very compassionate and understood our concern. X-rays were taken and his spine seemed ok. Dr Waldy is having a radiologist look at the X-rays to make certain of it. Our regular doctor is Dr Heaton but everyone of the doctors there are the best. We have taken our pets there for over 8 years and will never go anywhere else.

Call the Pet Resource Center on Falkenburg Rd. They will help you. RAH does not help strays at all.
You should probably call and talk to them about what you pet needs to be seen for to get the most accurate response
The people there are wonderful. Just call them and tell them what you need and they will help you. Everyone is kind and welcoming. After the disaster and dishonesty I got from Apollo Beach Animal Hospital, Ruskin and their staff saved and healed my cat. THEY ARE THE BEST!
They will help. But C.A.R.E in Ruskin is a shelter. Either way you will need to fund the care. We recently helped with a starving kitten. But she was too far gone. There is always a reason they get abandon. Mothers know.
Take to Blue Pearl in Brandon or Tampa. They have specialty vets and can diagnose tumors. Do NOT take anywhere else because hard lumps are something that should be biopsied ASAP! RAH is not a specialty clinic, save your money and take to Blue Pearl for a definite diagnoses.
There is a new vet in the Publix plaza. I know they do birds. Good possibility they do pigs.
We have complete confidence in the hospital and staff. I would call to determine if the doctors are knowledgeable about a specific breed of dog. We are always seen in a timely fashion.
Pig vasectomys are simple procedures.
Yes. I would call. They can handle or refer to others based on your specifics
You should never do that. Cap them if you must. But removing cats claws is equivalent to cutting off all your fingertips.
